Calipers & Pads: Installation

CAUTION: Stainless steel slipper replacement is mandatory with the service brake pad installation, even if the slippers appear undamaged. Ensure the slippers are correctly positioned with the slipper ends snug against the outboard end of the anchor plate rail.

Install NEW stainless anti-rattle clips. Install brake pads. The inboard pad has a wear indicator tab. Position caliper on rotor. Install caliper pin bolts. Connect brake hose to rotor using NEW copper washers on connector bolt. Bleed brakes. See BLEEDING BRAKE SYSTEM .
