Vacuum Pump Bolts 80-106 (9-12)
(1) Tighten in stages. Stage 1: Tighten lower bolt to 295 Ft. Lbs. (400 N.m). Stage 2: Tighten upper bolt to 100 Ft. Lbs. (136 N.m). Stage 3: Tighten lower bolt an additional 1/8 to 1/4 turn.
(2) Tighten to 70 Ft. Lbs. (95 N.m), back off nut 90 degrees, tighten again to 18 Ft. Lbs. (24 N.m). Final bearing adjustment has zero end play.
(3) Tighten to 60 Ft. Lbs. (81 N.m) while rotating rear hub assembly.
(4) Tighten spindle nut while rotating rotor. Loosen 2 turns. Tighten spindle nut to 17-24 Ft. Lbs. (23-33 N.m) while rotating rotor. Loosen spindle nut 175 degrees. Tighten spindle nut to 17 INCH Lbs. (2 N.m) while rotating rotor.
