Disc Brake Calipers & Pads: Installation

CAUTION: Do not allow grease, oil, brake fluid or other contaminants to contact the pad lining material. Do NOT install contaminated pads.
  1. Install the disc brake anti-rattle clips. Install the pads.
  2. Use "C" clamp to push caliper piston into piston bore until it bottoms out.
  3. Install the disc brake caliper. Install the disc brake caliper bolts.
  4. Connect brake hose to caliper using NEW copper washers on connector bolt. Bleed brakes as necessary. See BLEEDING BRAKE SYSTEM .
