Removal & Installation (Except Motorhome Chassis)

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
  2. Release the fuse block assembly from the brake pedal bracket and position aside. See Fig 1.
  3. Disconnect the brake booster push rod. Remove the stoplight switch self-locking clip. Remove the stoplight switch. Remove the brake booster push rod bushing. Disconnect the brake booster push rod from the brake pedal pin. See Fig 2.
  4. Remove the brake pedal bracket upper mounting nuts. See Fig 2.
  5. Remove the brake booster mounting nuts.
  6. Remove the brake pedal and bracket assembly.
  7. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
