Removal & Installation (Fixed Pedals With M/T)

  1. Disconnect the clutch master cylinder push rod. See Fig 1.
  2. Disconnect the Clutch Pedal Position (CPP) switch. See Fig 2.
  3. Remove the clutch master cylinder by rotating the clutch master cylinder 45 degrees clockwise. See Fig 3.
  4. Remove the stoplight switch self-locking pin. See Figure.
  5. Slide the stoplight switch and the booster push rod off the brake pedal pin. See Figure.
  6. Remove the bulkhead sound insulator. See Figure.
  7. Remove the two brake pedal bracket bolts. See Fig 4.
  8. Remove the brake pedal bracket/power booster nuts. See Figure.
  9. To install, reverse removal procedure. Ensure the bulkhead sound insulator is not between the brake pedal and bracket and the bulkhead. Tighten fasteners to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
