Removal And Installation

NOTE: Prior to removal of the module, it is necessary to upload the module configuration information to the scan tool. For additional information, refer to MODULE CONFIGURATION article.

Depower the supplemental restraint system (SRS). For additional information, refer to SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM article.
Lower the tilt steering column to the lowest position.
Remove the 2 screws and the instrument cluster finish panel.

Remove the 4 instrument cluster screws and the instrument cluster.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Download the instrument cluster configuration information from the scan tool into the new instrument cluster. For additional information, refer to MODULE CONFIGURATION article.
