Condition	Possible Sources	Action
The autolamps are inoperative	Circuitry Light sensor Multifunction switch Smart junction box (SJB)	Go to Pinpoint Test H .
The autolamps are on continuously	Circuitry Light sensor Multifunction switch SJB	Go to Pinpoint Test I .
The autolamp time delay is inoperative	SJB	CHECK the SJB configuration and make sure the autolamp feature and time delay are configured correctly. If the SJB is configured correctly, INSTALL a new SJB. REFER to MULTIFUNCTION ELECTRONIC MODULES article. If the SJB is not configured correctly, RECONFIGURE the SJB. TEST the system for normal operation.
The headlamps are inoperative with autolamps on	SJB	PLACE the multifunction switch in the HEADLAMPS ON position and OBSERVE the headlamps. If the headlamps illuminate, INSTALL a new SJB. REFER to MULTIFUNCTION ELECTRONIC MODULES article. If the headlamps do not illuminate, REFER to Headlamps in this article to continue diagnosis of the headlamps.
The parking lamps are inoperative with autolamps on	SJB	PLACE the multifunction switch in the PARKING LAMPS ON position and OBSERVE the parking lamps. If the parking lamps illuminate, INSTALL a new SJB. REFER to MULTIFUNCTION ELECTRONIC MODULES article. If the parking lamps do not illuminate, REFER to Parking, Rear and License Plate Lamps in this article to continue diagnosis of the parking lamps.
