Removal & Installation

Remove turbocharger. See TURBOCHARGER under AIR INDUCTION SYSTEMS. Remove exhaust backpressure solenoid electrical connector. Remove bolt and retaining bracket. Remove exhaust backpressure solenoid. See Fig 1. To install, reverse removal procedure. Lubricate "O" ring seals with clean engine oil prior to installing exhaust backpressure solenoid.
