High-Pressure Oil Pump: Installation

- Install high-pressure oil pressure regulator as necessary. Install high-pressure oil pump with gasket. Install mounting bolts and tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Install drive sprocket on high-pressure oil pump shaft. Before tightening drive sprocket bolt, ensure sprocket is fully seated on pump shaft.
- To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. Refill high pressure oil pump reservoir with clean engine oil. Tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
