Removal & Installation

Remove turbocharger. See TURBOCHARGER under AIR INDUCTION SYSTEMS. Remove exhaust backpressure solenoid electrical connector. Remove bolt and retaining bracket. Remove exhaust backpressure solenoid. See Fig 1 . To install, reverse removal procedure. Lubricate "O" ring seals with clean engine oil prior to installing exhaust backpressure solenoid.
