Dual Batteries: Disconnect

- Disconnect secondary positive battery cable from primary battery terminal and wrap with a non-conductive material to insulate it. Secondary positive cable remains energized after disconnection. To prevent vehicle or component damage, make sure secondary positive cable or tools do not contact any ground surfaces.
- Disconnect primary battery ground cable.
- Disconnect primary battery to starter relay cable.
