Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor

CAUTION:
Fuel Tank Pressure (FTP) sensor must be disengaged from the fuel tank before it can be removed. Failure to do so can cause damage to the FTP sensor or the fuel tank.
Remove fuel tank. See FUEL TANK under FUEL SYSTEMS. Disconnect FTP sensor connector. Press down and rotate FTP sensor counterclockwise to disengage. See Fig 1. Remove FTP sensor from fuel tank. To install, reverse removal procedure. Ensure EVAP system does not leak. Perform after repair procedure. See AFTER REPAIR PROCEDURE under EMISSION SYSTEMS & SUB-SYSTEMS.
