Removal & Installation (4.6L, 5.4L & 6.8L)

Remove ignition coil. See IGNITION COILS . Remove any foreign material from spark plug wells with compressed air before removing spark plugs. Remove spark plugs. Inspect spark plugs. Check and adjust gap to.052-.056" (1.32-1.42 mm). To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten spark plugs to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
