Removal & Installation (4.6L, 5.4L & 6.8L Coil-On-Plug)

Remove engine cover. See ENGINE COVER under MISCELLANEOUS. Disconnect ignition coil harness connectors. Remove ignition coil bolts and remove ignition coils. To install, reverse removal procedure. Apply Dielectric compound to the inside of the coil boots. Tighten coil bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
