Removal (5.4L)

Remove engine cover. See ENGINE COVER  under MISCELLANEOUS. Disconnect the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) valve tube upper fitting and vacuum hose. Remove EGR valve bolts and EGR valve. See Figure. Discard EGR gasket.
