P1705 - TRANSMISSION RANGE CIRCUIT NOT INDICATING PARK/NEUTRAL DURING SELF-TEST
| Description: | The PCM checks the gear position when a KOER self-test is requested. The test fails when the gear indicated by the transmission range (TR) sensor is other than PARK. | |||
| Possible Causes: |
|
|||
| Diagnostic Aids: | The KOER self-test executes only in PARK. Make sure the gear selector is in PARK. Repair the TR DTCs first. Make sure the sensor/gear selector assembly does not have any mechanical concerns. | |||
| Application | Key On Engine Off | Key On Engine Running | Continuous Memory | |
| All | The KOEO self-test was not executed because the transmission range (TR) sensor did not indicate PARK. Repair any TR sensor/gear selector assembly concerns. Repeat KOEO self-test with the transmission in PARK. | |||
