P1500 - Vehicle Speed Sensor

P1500 - VEHICLE SPEED SENSOR

Description:  Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) indicates the PCM has detected a vehicle speed signal that is out of range or intermittent.
Possible Causes: 
  • Transaxle traction motor system failure
  • Communication network error
Diagnostic Aids:  Refer toPOWERTRAIN CONTROL SOFTWARE , Vehicle Speed Functional Overview description for further information.
Check for network error DTCs.
Application  Key On Engine Off  Key On Engine Running  Continuous Memory
