Electronic Pressure Control Solenoid (4R70W): Removal

CAUTION:
Do not pull on the molded lead frame. This may cause damage to the connector ends.
- Raise and support vehicle. Drain the transmission fluid and remove the transmission fluid pan and filter. See DRAINING & REFILLING under LUBRICATION.
- Remove the manual control lever. See MANUAL LEVER SHAFT & SEAL . Carefully pry up on the locking tabs to disconnect the solenoids. Disconnect the molded lead frame from the solenoids. See Fig 1.
- Disconnect the shift solenoids "A" and "B". Disconnect the Torque Converter Clutch (TCC). Disconnect the Electronic Pressure Control (EPC) solenoid.
- Disconnect the bulkhead inter-connector. Remove the bolt and EPC solenoid bracket. See Fig 2. Remove the EPC solenoid.
