Shift Indicator: Blackwood

Remove the lower dash panel. See Fig 2. Place the gearshift lever in the first gear position. Place the gearshift lever in the Drive position. This should be 2 detents from the first gear position. Hang a 3 lb. (1.4 kg) weight on the end of the gearshift lever. Center the shift indicator in the middle of the "D" by rotating the thumbwheel on the PRNDL cable housing. See Fig 1. Remove the weight from the end of the gearshift lever. Install the lower dash panel.
