Removal And Installation

NOTE: New bolts must be installed, do not reuse the bolts that were removed. The studs and nuts can be reused.
  1. Remove and discard the rear seat load floor-to-floor bolt.
    • To install, tighten to 62 Nm (46 lb-ft).
  2. Remove the 6 load floor bolts and remove the load floor assembly.
    • To install, tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).
  3. Remove and discard the 3 front seat riser-to-floor bolts.
    • To install, tighten to 62 Nm (46 lb-ft).
  4. Remove the 2 rear seat riser-to-floor nuts and bolt.
    • To install, tighten to 62 Nm (46 lb-ft).
  5. NOTE: Removing the rear seat requires more than one technician.
  6. Remove the 60/40 rear seat assembly.
  7. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
    • Make sure the safety belt is not twisted prior to installation.
    • Make sure the safety belts and buckles are accessible to the occupants after installation.
