Seat - Front, With Seat Integrated Restraints (SIR): Installation

- Position the seat in the vehicle. Install the retainers. Do not tighten at this time.
- Tighten the retainers in the following sequence:
- Tighten the 2 new front bolts to 55 Nm (41 lb-ft).
- Tighten the new rear bolt and then the nut (driver seat) or new rear bolt (passenger seat) to 55 Nm (41 lb-ft).
- Tighten the new fifth foot bolt to 55 Nm (41 lb-ft).
- Install the fifth foot trim cover.
- Connect the usage detection switch and power seat electrical connectors located under the seat.
- Install the seat mounting retainer covers.
- Make sure the safety belt and buckle are accessible to the occupant after installation.
NOTE:
Make sure the bushing is press fit onto the fifth foot mounting hole.
WARNING:
The seat anchor bolts and nut must be tightened in the specified order.
