Disassembly And Assembly

- Remove the front bench seat backrest. For additional information, refer to Seat Backrest - Front, Bench in this article.
- Remove the safety belt buckles from the cushion trim retainer (1 side shown).
- Remove the 2 LH seat riser nuts and remove the seat riser.
- To install, tighten to 50 Nm (37 lb-ft).
- Remove the 2 RH seat riser nuts and remove the seat riser.
- To install, tighten to 50 Nm (37 lb-ft).
- Remove 2 seat track-to-cushion front bolts (1 shown).
- To install, tighten to 25 Nm (19 lb-ft).
- Remove 2 seat track-to-cushion rear bolts (1 shown) and remove the seat track assembly.
- To install, tighten to 25 Nm (19 lb-ft).
- Remove the 2 LH seat track adjusting bar bolts.
- To install, tighten to 12 Nm (9 lb-ft).
- Remove the RH seat track adjusting bar bolt.
- To install, tighten to 12 Nm (9 lb-ft).
- Release the seat cushion J-clips.
- Release the recliner cable anchor clips and remove the recliner cable.
- Remove the seat cushion frame from the seat cushion and trim cover assembly.
- Invert the cushion trim cover and release the hook-and-loop strips and remove the seat cushion trim cover from the foam pad.
- To assemble, reverse the disassembly procedure.
NOTE:
Note the position of the recliner cable for installation.
CAUTION:
Use care when separating the seat cushion trim cover from the hook-and-loop strip, or the hook-and-loop strip can be torn from the seat cushion foam.
