Principles of Operation: Autolock

The autolock feature locks all doors when the following conditions are met:
- the key is in the RUN/START position
- the vehicle speed is less than 8 km/h (5 mph)
- all doors are closed
- the brake is applied and then released
- the vehicle speed reaches 8 km/h (5 mph) or higher
The relock feature repeats the autolock feature when the following conditions are met:
- autolock has previously occurred
- the speed is below 8 km/h (5 mph)
- any door is opened with the brake pedal applied
- all doors are closed again
- the brake is released
- the vehicle speed reaches 8 km/h (5 mph) or higher
