Remote locking and unlocking of the doors is accomplished by the vehicle security module receiving a command message from the remote keyless entry (RKE) transmitter through the vehicle security module.
DTC B2276 - is an on-demand DTC that sets if the vehicle security module detects that less than 2 transmitters are programmed.
DTC B2425 - is a continuous DTC that sets if the vehicle security module detects that the remote keyless entry transmitter is out of synchronization.
All RKE transmitters must be present to begin diagnosis of the RKE system.
Possible Causes
- RKE transmitter
- RKE transmitter button pressed a substantial amount of times while outside the range of the vehicle
- Vehicle security module
