Removal And Installation

  1. Disconnect the electrical connectors (left side only).

  2. Remove the wheel and tire assembly. For additional information, refer to WHEELS AND TIRES article.
  3. If equipped with running boards, loosen the 16 running board bolts.

  4. Remove the front fender splash shield pin-type retainers.

  5. Remove the front fender splash shield.
    • Remove the screws.
    • Remove the nuts (right side only).
    • Remove the bolts.

  6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
