Transmission Insulator And Retainer: Removal

  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING AND LIFTING article.
  2. Remove the rear transmission insulator bolts and nuts.
    3. Fig 1: Locating Transmission Insulator Bolts

  3. Raise the transmission upward, off the transmission insulator and remove the insulator.
