  1. Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Disconnect instrument cluster White 16-pin harness connector C220a. Turn ignition switch to ON position. Place multifunction switch in right turn position. Measure voltage between ground and instrument cluster White 16-pin harness connector C220a terminal No. 14 (White/Light Blue wire). See Figure. If voltage is 10 volts or less, go to next step. If voltage is more than 10 volts, replace instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Retest system operation.
  2. Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Disconnect multifunction switch Gray 11-pin harness connector C202a. Measure resistance of White/Light Blue wire between instrument cluster White 16-pin harness connector C220a terminal No. 14 and multifunction switch Gray 11-pin harness connector C202a terminal No. 2. See Figure and Figure . If resistance is less than 5 ohms, repair turn signal system problem as necessary. See EXTERIOR LIGHTS in appropriate SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAMS article in ELECTRICAL. If resistance is 5 ohms or more, repair open in White/Light Blue wire. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Retest system operation.
