Axle Shaft Seal: Removal

  1. Remove the wheel hub. For additional information, refer to FRONT SUSPENSION - FOUR WHEEL DRIVE (4WD) article.

  2. Using a suitable tool, drive the axle shaft main seal out of the wheel knuckle.

  3. Remove the axle shaft and main seal.

  4. Remove the axle shaft dust seal from the shaft.
    • Discard the seal.
