Normal Operation

With the parking lamps on, voltage is supplied to the dimmer switch (part of the headlamp switch) through circuit 14 (BN). The dimmer switch (part of the headlamp switch) then sends a variable pulse width modulated (PWM) voltage to the dimmable backlighting components through circuit 19 (LB/RD). Ground is supplied to the dimmer switch (part of the headlamp switch) through circuit 57 (BK).
Possible Causes
- Fuse
- Circuit 14 (BN) open
- Circuit 19 (LB/RD) open
- Circuit 57 (BK) open
- Headlamp switch
