Crankshaft Pulley: Removal

  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING AND LIFTING article.
  2. Remove the accessory drive belt. For additional information, refer to ACCESSORY DRIVE article.
  3. Remove the fan blade assembly. For additional information, refer to ENGINE COOLING article.
  4. Using the special tool to prevent the crankshaft rotation, remove the crankshaft pulley bolt and washer.

  5. Using the special tools, remove the crankshaft pulley.
