Crankshaft Front Seal: Installation

  1. Inspect the crankshaft damper and the engine front cover for damage that may cause the crankshaft front seal to fail.
    2. NOTE: Lubricate the crankshaft front seal with clean engine oil.

  2. Using the special tools, install the crankshaft front seal.
  3. Install the crankshaft pulley. For additional information, refer to Crankshaft Pulley  in this article.
