In-Vehicle Servicing: Camshaft: Installation

- Lubricate the camshaft with clean engine oil and install it in the engine block.
- Install the camshaft spacer.
- Install the camshaft thrust plate and the bolts.
- Tighten to 11 Nm (8 lb-ft).
- Install the camshaft Woodruff key.
- Make sure the engine dynamic balance shaft Woodruff key is at the 12 o'clock position and the camshaft Woodruff key is at the 6 o'clock position.
- Install the engine dynamic balance shaft drive gear on the camshaft. Make sure the timing marks on the drive gear and driven gear are lined up.
