Four wheel drive (4WD) vehicles

  1. Remove the front driveshaft shield nuts and remove the shield.
    2. Fig 1: Removing Front Driveshaft Shield Nuts & Shield

    NOTE: Index-mark the front and rear flange.
    NOTE: It is not necessary to remove the front driveshaft from the vehicle.
  2. Index-mark the front and rear flange, disconnect the front driveshaft and position aside.
