P2552 - Throttle/Fuel Inhibit Circuit/Open

P2552 - THROTTLE/FUEL INHIBIT CIRCUIT/OPEN

Description:  The fuel injector control module monitor (FICMM) input line informs the diesel engine power monitor (DEPM) when the injectors are turned on and off. When the FICMM line is either shorted or open, the monitor strategy assumes that the fuel injectors are always turned on and sets DTC P2552.
Possible Causes: 
  • FICMM circuitry open or short to ground.
  • Powertrain control module (PCM).
Diagnostic Aids:  Check the FICMM circuit for open or short to ground.
Application    Key On Engine Off  Key On Engine Running  Continuous Memory
