Principles of Operation: Autolock

The auto locking feature locks all the doors when all the following conditions are met:

The doors are closed.
The key is in the RUN position
The transmission is shifted to any gear putting the vehicle in motion
The vehicle reaches a speed greater than 20 km/h (12 mph)

This feature relocks all the doors if any door is opened then closed, the vehicle speed goes below 15 km/h (9 mph) and then exceeds 20 km/h (12 mph).
