Normal Operation

Pressing the RKE transmitter's luggage compartment lid release button (located in the integrated key) signals the smart junction box (SJB) to apply a voltage signal to the luggage compartment lid latch.

All RKE transmitters must be present to begin diagnosis of the RKE system.

Aftermarket or dealer-installed systems may adversely affect the RKE operation. These systems should be disconnected before diagnosing the RKE concerns.
