Removal and Installation

    All vehicles 

  1. Position the seats forward and remove the 2 rear bolts.
  2. Position the seats rearward.
  3. Position the parking brake handle to the full-up position, if equipped.

    4. Fusion, Milan 

  4. Remove the floor finish panel trim ring, if equipped with automatic transmission.

    5. All vehicles 

  5. Remove the manual transmission gearshift knob, if equipped.
  6. Open the storage compartment door.
  7. Remove the floor console finish panel.
    • Disconnect the electrical connectors.

    8. Zephyr only 

  8. Remove the 2 side panel covers from the floor console.
    • Pull outward on the panel to disengage the retainers.

    9. Fusion, Milan 

  9. Remove the trinket tray.
    • Disconnect the electrical connector.
    • Disconnect the audio jack connector.
  10. Remove the 2 bolt covers.
  11. Remove the 2 bolts.

    12. All vehicles 

  12. Remove the remaining 4 bolts and remove the floor console.
    • Disconnect the electrical connector.
  13. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
