Valve Spring, Retainer, and Seal: Installation

NOTE: Lubricate the valve guide with clean engine oil.

Using the special tool, install the new valve seal.

CAUTION: If the components are to be reinstalled, they must be installed in their original positions.

Using the special tool, install the valve spring, retainer and key.
Install the camshaft roller followers. For additional information, refer to CAMSHAFT ROLLER FOLLOWER .
