Removal and Installation

- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING & LIFTING .
- Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .
- Remove the intake manifold. For additional information, refer to ENGINE - 2.3L .
- Remove the bolt and the knock sensor.
- To install, tighten to 20 Nm (15 lb-ft).
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
