Test E: No Operation In Vent Position

  1. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Operate moon roof in sliding direction open and closed using moon roof control switch. If moon roof operates, go to next step. If moon roof does not operate, perform TEST D: MOON ROOF INOPERATIVE.
  2. Close moon roof to flush position. Open moon roof to vent position. If moon roof opens in vent direction, go to next step. If moon roof does not open in vent direction, repair lifter arm assemblies.
  3. Close moon roof to flush position. If moon roof closes, synchronize moon roof motor. See MOTOR SYNCHRONIZATION under ADJUSTMENTS. If moon roof does not close, repair lifter arm assemblies.
