Test C: Moon Roof Noisy During Operation

- Cycle moon roof from fully open to closed position. Watch operation while checking for looseness. If moon roof is loose, assembly is not adjusted correctly. See ADJUSTMENTS. If moon roof is okay, go to next step.
- Check rails and trough for foreign objects or looseness. Repair or adjust as necessary. If no faults are found, go to next step.
- Cycle moon roof from closed to fully open position. If motor makes excessive noise, check for incorrect installation. If installation is okay, replace motor. If motor does not make excessive noise, testing is complete.
- Leave moon roof in fully open position. Check lifters for correct installation. Reinstall if necessary. If lifters are correctly installed, check assembly for correct adjustment. See ADJUSTMENTS.
