Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the C-pillar trim panel. For additional information, refer to C-PILLAR TRIM PANEL - FIVE HUNDRED, MONTEGO  .
  2. If equipped with side curtain air bags, remove the screw from the D-pillar.
  3. Remove the D-pillar.
    • Pull the front inboard edge of the D-pillar trim panel down to release the retaining clips.
    • Gently pull the outboard retaining clips down.
    • Pull the D-pillar trim panel toward the front of the vehicle to remove.
  4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
