Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the liftgate trim panel. For additional information, refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
  2. Disconnect the liftgate molding electrical connector.
  3. Disconnect the liftgate latch release cable.
  4. Remove the 4 nuts and the liftgate molding.
    • To install, tighten to 6 N.m (53 lb-in).
  5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
