Powertrain Control System	-
TCM, vehicle wiring harnesses, primary pulley speed sensor, OSS	Carry out on-board diagnostic tests. Refer to INTRODUCTION - GASOLINE article for diagnosis and testing of the TCM. GO to PINPOINT TEST F and GO to PINPOINT TEST I . Repair as required. Clear DTCs, road test and rerun on-board diagnostic test.
Shift Linkage	-
Damaged or out of adjustment	Inspect and repair as required. Verify linkage adjustment. Refer to AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE/TRANSMISSION EXTERNAL CONTROLS .
Incorrect Pressures	-
Forward clutch pressure	Check pressure PIDs. Main Control
Primary variator cover - seals damaged or missing	Inspect. Repair as required.
Transmission range sensor	Transmission range sensor feed tube.
Forward Clutch Assembly	-
Seals, Piston - damaged	Install new components as necessary
Fluid Tubes and Seals - worn, damaged, loose, leaking	Inspect. Install new as required.
Friction Elements - damaged, clearance check incorrect	Inspect. Repair as required.
Wave Spring - damaged, missing	Inspect. Repair as required.
