Seat - Front, With Seat Integrated Restraints (SIR): Removal

NOTE: New bolts must be installed, do not reuse the bolts that were removed. The stud and nut can be reused.

NOTE: Driver side shown, passenger side similar.

Disconnect the usage detection switch and power seat electrical connectors located under the seat.

NOTE: Passenger front inboard retainer cover shown, driver cover similar.

Remove the front inboard retainer cover.
Remove the front seat rear retainer cover.

Remove the fifth foot trim cover.
- Remove the pin-type retainer.
- Lift at the rear of the cover to release cover retainer clip.

NOTE: New bolts must be installed, do not reuse the bolts that were removed. The retaining stud and nut can be reused.

Remove the seat.
- For the driver seat, remove and discard the 4 bolts, then remove the nut and the seat.
- For the passenger seat, remove and discard the 5 bolts and remove the seat.
