Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the cowl top vent panels. For additional information, refer to FRONT END BODY PANELS .
  2. Remove the wiper mounting arm and pivot shaft.
    1. Remove the 5 bolts.
      • To install, tighten to 11 Nm (8 lb-ft).
    2. Disconnect electrical connector.
    3. Remove the wiper mounting arm and pivot shaft assembly.

  3. If necessary, remove the wiper motor. For additional information, refer to WIPER MOTOR  in this section.
  4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
