Warning Devices

The warning device system consists of the following:
- safety belt warning lamp switch
- door ajar switch
- instrument cluster
- key-in-ignition warning switch
- headlamp on warning
- air bag secondary warning chime
- parking brake engaged chime
The following 4 distinct chime rates are used to indicate a warning:
- The safety belt warning chime is 1 chime per second.
- The key-in-ignition warning is 2 chimes per second.
- The headlamp on warning is 4 chimes per second.
- The door ajar warning is a single chime.
