Removal and Installation

Remove the rear door scuff plate. For additional information, refer to INTERIOR TRIM AND ORNAMENTATION .
Remove the rear seat. For additional information, refer to SEATING .
If equipped, remove the utility tray from behind the rear seat. For additional information, refer to INTERIOR TRIM AND ORNAMENTATION .
Pull the carpet or mat back to expose the lower body insulator bolt head.
Remove and discard the bolt.
- To install, tighten to 80 Nm (60 lb-ft).

Remove the insulator.

NOTE: Do not reuse body support mounting fasteners. New fasteners must be installed for each fastener that has been removed or loosened.

NOTE: No lubricants of any kind are to be used during body insulator installation.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
