Removal and Installation

  1. Mark the position of the hood latch.
  2. Remove the 2 hood latch bolts.
    • To install, tighten to 12 Nm (9 lb-ft).
  3. Disconnect the hood latch release cable from the hood latch.
    • Disconnect the cable conduit.
    • Disconnect the cable.
  4. Remove the hood latch.
  5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
