Removal and Installation

    NOTE: The window must be in the raised position.
  1. Remove the exterior front door handle. For additional information, refer to EXTERIOR FRONT DOOR HANDLE .
  2. Disconnect the push button rod from the front door latch.
  3. Release the front door latch actuating cable locators.

  4. Remove the 3 screws and position the front door latch aside.
    • To install, tighten to 12 Nm (9 lb-ft).
  5. Disconnect the front door latch electrical connector(s).
  6. Remove the front door latch cable water seal.
  7. Remove the front door latch.
    • Release the cable conduit.
    • Release the cable.
  8. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
